Mason Pain is a cannabis industry marketing professional who combines nearly a decade of experience growing brands and helping businesses achieve their short and long term strategic goals with half a lifetime of passionate advocacy for the plant.
Mason graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BFA in Theatre Performance, where he received the College of Fine Arts and Design’s Award of Excellence in 2011. Mason has since played a wide variety of professional roles—from working on political campaigns to carrying a Chicago startup through two series rounds of funding as a marketing director, where he maintained relationships with partners like the Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers. Mason is also a yoga and gong trainer and shared a series he designed for men’s mental health across three days at the 2018 Envision Festival in Costa Rica. He is adaptable and service oriented. He values intentionality, bridging differences to achieve solutions and knows that rightly timed patience and nurturing makes all the difference.
Mason is passionate about civil rights, cannabis reform and creating positive change where they intersect. He is committed to helping Oklahomans navigate the complex and ever-evolving landscape of cannabis law. He is an advocate for access and leverages his marketing role with Gies Law Firm to educate the industry about legislative reforms and create unified movements working toward better outcomes.
